A controller, a load cell, a Motor Drive, Clutch or Brake, and a machine mechanism make up the web tension control solution. A closed-loop control Solution is created by these four elements working together. When the tension is detected, the sensor measures the load on the roll given by the web, reads that difference as a voltage signal proportionate to it, and sends that signal to the controller. The signal is output to the electric driver, which drives the web tension mechanism to conduct actions in accordance with the amplitude of the input signal to guide the coil to a predetermined set tension, after the signal has been amplified and calibrated by the controller.
