Unwind Auto Tension Control
System Description
By using an ultrasonic sensor to monitor the diameter of the unwinder tension, web tension for the unwind can be automatically maintained. The controller then processed the computed tension and sent the brake supply to control brake. In essence, as the Unwinder diameter shrinks, the controller also reduces the brake supply.
